Good to know

Car - Parking
The parking garage at the cathedral costs 0.60 Euro per 20 minutes, max. 18 Euro per day (evening rate from 19 o`clock). In other places in the city from 1.30 to 1.70 Euro/hour. Tip: Instead of the parking garage "Dom/Rhein" , you'd better choose the parking garage at the Heumarkt or at Gürzenich. Pay attention to the temporary parking restrictions, the night before the carnival parades and street festivals: the tow truck is coming faster than you think.

A walk to the old town or the Eigelsteinviertel will take a few minutes on foot.
