From the North and the South, you reach Hanover about the A7. From the West and East, the A2 leads to the capital of lower Saxony.
Getting there - by train
By train, it is easy to reach Hanover. It is one of the most important nodes in the German long-distance traffic. The central station records 250,000 passengers and over 700 trains, daily. The ICE-trains between Hamburg and Stuttgart are leaving hourly. In East-West direction, the train track passes from Cologne about Hanover to Berlin.
Getting there - by plane
The airport is located about ten kilometers outside the city center (in north direction). The taxi ride to the center takes 20 minutes and costs about 20 Euro. The tour by bus or by city-train (No. 5) is cheaper, it costs about 2,40 Euro and takes 12 minutes to the central station.
