Getting there - by car
The highways from Nuremberg, Salzburg and Garmisch/Starnberg flow into the Middle Ring, the one from Stuttgart is passing in the Verdistraße, which also leads (over the Arnulfstraße) to the ring. Park & Ride sites are located on all city-train- and underground-stations on the outskirts.

Pasing and Ostbahnhof are both suburban transit-stations, the main-station is on the other hand in the heart of the city. Here, you have access to almost all city-train and underground-stations.

Getting there - by plane
In the central area of the airport, you will find the information (Phone: 97 500). From here, the city-trains S 1 (via Laim) and S 8 (via Ostbahnhof) are starting every 20 minutes and it is the fastest and (with 8,80 Euro for the single-ticket) cheapest way into the city center (taxi costs about 50 â‚¬). The airport bus plied from the train station daily (5.10am - 7.50pm) in 20-minute intervals, from the airport (6.20am - 9.40pm). Price: 10 â‚¬.
