The Stuttcard plus (18 €) is valid at three consecutive days and allows unlimited travel on buses, urban and suburban railways in the center and to the airport, free admission to many museums, price-reduced tickets in many theaters, including for the planetarium, the Wilhelma, the mineral baths, on city tours and boat trips. There is also a Stuttcard (12 €), but without the free rides. Both cards available at the Information point.

Bus and city-train

The pricing system for the city-train is divided into tariff zones. A short trip for 3 stations costs about 1 Euro. Single tickets, depending on the zones and the number are 1.95 to 6.50 Euro. For 10,30 Euro, you get a three-day ticket for the city of Stuttgart.
For night owls, there is a night bus on Friday, Saturday and nights before holidays: Lines N10-70 start (depending on destination) at 1.30, 2.40, 2.50, 3.50, 4 and 4.10 o`clock on the Schlossplatz in the city (http://www.nachtaktiv.net). Note: Buy the tickets before the trip.

Many roads are leading to Stuttgart, from all directions. Choose the correct departure previously.

Getting there - by train
On the rail network (ICE, IC) Stuttgart is connected directly with all major German, Austrian and Swiss cities. By rail, the traveler gets directly to the city center.
Getting there - plane
The airport is located about 13 km from the city center. The fastest way in the city is via the City-train S 2 and S3. Trains run from the basement regularly until late into the night. 3.10 Euro costs each way to central station.

Here you get information about city- and night-tours, scenic flights and boat trips. There is an advance ticket sale of tickets for cultural and sporting events. It is also the meeting point for most guided tours.
